Monday 8th June 2020 – 5pm The Right Wing of the Catholic Church (and how depressing it is to use that phrase knowing that everyone will understand what I mean) will be digging in deeper and deeper. Already frightened beyond continence by the present pontiff, they will now feel, with the huge uncontrollable sea changes in society that are taking place, that the end times are upon us. They will feel that the chief destroyer of the Church, Pope Francis I, is the man they need to nail. It wouldn't surprise me if an attempt was made on his life very soon, that is, an assassination attempt. It would be justified, in the twisted minds of those who would welcome such a thing, by the levels of fear being experienced throughout 'the old curia', their adherents, supporters and emotionally allied. It is somewhat cheering to be able to use the phrase 'the old curia' and know that everyone will understand it, apart from those, of course, who will never allow themselves to unde...
